oui! oui!

I know it's been a really long time but the time is now and I am back!! I recently went to London and Paris to celebrate my 50th birthday! (Had an amazing time. We will get into later) It made me realize that I really love traveling. I love fashion. And I love being at home too! So like I said I'm back and going to talk about whatever it is I'm into at the moment.  JCrew, Paris whatever it is, I'm going to have fun with it!  Oh, and the pic? Well that's me feeling very french in France!! I'm wearing a Rebecca Taylor jumpsuit and Rebecca Minkoff sandals. Talk soon!!

Jcrew wish list

Here a just a few items in my WishList @ Jcrew.  I just love they the way the website "stores" your list.  It's pictured much like this. Then you can click and drag the items in whatever order you want them in.  (Or "touch" and drag if your on an ipad like I am, 24-7.) Add them into your shopping bag when your ready to purchase.  I remember the day when you would collect all your "wishlist" items in your shopping bag then Jcrew would change up there website with a new promo and "poof" your items would be gone.... forever.  Now in the wishlist they stay forever!     Whew!!

starting the new year right

The first meal of the new year, of course, is a donut.     Anybody that knows me knows that's how I start every morning.    And it's going to stay in 2014.   This isn't your normal donut.    This is a cronut!  Half donut, half croissant.  What has taken NY by storm, I have made in my own kitchen. (with a little help from Williams Sonoma)

Views from my porch

Woke up this morning to a beautiful snow fall.  This is the view from my second story porch! Just beautiful.  All you guys (Chip & Jay) in Florida........ eat your heart out!!!!  I guess you can't have "the best of both worlds" but you can enjoy what you have!   Have a happy holiday season everyone!!

Xmas House Tour

 Today our home was part of a christmas house tour in our neighborhood for charity.  These are a few pics of our house. It was alot of work but so worth it.  We had a great turnout considering the freezing drizzle and flurries.  I heard they sold about 230 tickets.  Thanks for looking and have a wonderful holiday season.  Stay warm!!
